About Danielle Joworski
On the evening of my 40th birthday, I told my husband I was done.
With my career - not him.
Two goals set for myself in my 20's, to reach by 40, had been achieved but at a very high expense. During my climb I forgot to do 2 seemingly simple things.
One: ask for help. Because I didn't (something about being a strong, independent woman), I ended up burning out and losing connection with myself and my family.
Two: identify who I want to be when I grew up, instead of just what I want to be. The impact was that I attached my value and worth to my title and salary.
So I paused my career.
At the time, I had burned out and I needed to re-connect with myself, my family, and to people who could help me answer the question "who do I want to be when I grow up?"
With a career spanning multiple Fortune 500 companies and becoming an award-winning Author and business woman, my biggest success has been re-establishing those connections I lost at home.
Who am I? I am a wife, mom of 2 kids and 1 dog. I spend winters at ice rinks and summers in my backyard. I have diverse interests; I grew up listening to heavy metal and playing classical music. I have Science and Arts degrees. Problem solving or playing the piano, I'm happy doing both. The one thing I don't compromise on though is heel height.
I am here. A career decision that feels good.
What do I do? I help women who are unhappy with their current career situation to confidently navigate to where they want to go; making career decisions that feel good and move them towards having an office in their desired "C" (choice)-suite.
I work with women and companies who are knowledge seekers, visionaries, and want to create positive change within themselves and in the lives of those they serve. I bring over 15 years of knowledge from analytical to creative industries, from entry-level to Leadership, with a passion to assist others with their career direction and development. A background in adult learning is a valuable asset as I LOVE LOVE LOVE to design and deliver experiential learning opportunities that share information while meeting the learning needs and styles of many.
My mission to help CAREERMOMs comes from a career leaping and climbing in search of something 'more', and almost losing all that was most important to me because I was lost, and didn't know where to find (or ask for) help. I am here to help.
Valuing vulnerability, authenticity, continual learning, and giving back, I dream of establishing a global presence connecting women to resources, solutions, ideas and each other. My other dreams? To own a brownstone in NYC and a villa in Italy. Some pretty awesome places to hunt for my next pair of fabulous shoes.
